The Thread Lift

The Thread Lift is a face-lifting office procedure that is an alternative to a traditional surgical facelift.

The Thread Lift provides a small lift to areas of the forehead or face that have dropped with age because of gravity. The result is a fresher, more rested appearance. However, the Thread Lift cannot give the dramatic improvement seen with a facelift.

The Thread Lift is performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient in about 1 hour. The procedure is done percutaneously so there are no large incisions. Areas lifted include the brow, cheeks and jowls. The Thread Lift is often used in conjunction with botox for fine wrinkles, dermal fillers, like restylane, for deeper wrinkles and skin treatments, like peels or thermage.
